Since 2015, PrescribeIT® has established itself as a leader in the Canadian electronic prescribing space by enabling prescribers to electronically transmit a prescription to a patient’s pharmacy of choice. 2015
Infoway begins investigation into creating Canada’s e-prescribing service.
2016
Government of Canada provides start-up investment for e-prescribing. Secured first letter of intent (LOI) with a pharmacy chain, and ended the year with memorandums of understanding (MOUs) with two jurisdictions (Alberta, Ontario), and an LOI with three pharmacy chains.
2017
Government of Canada provides major investment for PrescribeIT®. The first jurisdiction goes live in Ontario (Huntsville), MOUs with six jurisdictions and an LOI in place with 13 pharmacy chains.
